Write to your NZ government to get them to support and practice the BDS (boycott , disinvestment and sanctions) campaign and expel Israels ambassador and expel theirs from NZ . Make their stance unpalatable for them.

I emailed the NZ government 20^th October 2023 regarding its very poor criticism of Israels reaction to 7 Oct attacks and its treatment of the Gaza strip. See below.

Mahuta did not reply to her email but replied to Hipkin's one forwarded to her. In which she repeated the NZ government website stance on their MFAT webpage here. with 4 pillars .

Which condemns Hamas attacks .

Supports Israels right to defend itself under international law

Then calling for upholding international law and 2 state solution .

This all well and good and appears on the surface ok , but it is not. The first 2 pillars are pro Israel/ anti Palestine rhetoric . At no point does Mahuta or NZ condemn Israel as a terrorist organisation/state and not following international law when bombing and invading Gaza . Israel is also currently occupying and settling the West Bank unlawfully under International law , UN resolutions and International Justice Court decisions ..

This is an incredibly poor response from the NZ Labour government and is clearly motivated by support of Israel or at least not damaging trade deals . National will be worse . NZ must support BDS to force the rogue terror state of Israel into line with international law and UN resolutions.
